is a grassroots civil rights organization, which welcomes people of
all backgrounds, faiths and ethnicities as members.
- The Anti-Discrimination Committee was founded by U.S.
Senator James Abourezk in 1980
- Advisory Board members include: Muhammad Ali, Her
Majesty Queen Noor, several U.S. Congressmen, Edward Said &
Casey Kasem among others
- ADC has members in all 50 states - and it is the
largest Arab American organization of its kind
The
three cities with the largest concentrations of Arab Americans are:
Los Angeles, Detroit, & New York.
Three-fourths of Arab Americans are Christian according to AAI.
There are 3
million Americans with Arab heritage and approximately 7
million Muslim Americans (by comparison there are 5.2
million Jewish Americans)

slightly larger than the US (300 million people) most of whom
